On Saturday, 1st March 2025, an intensive and comprehensive free medical outreach was organized and carried out. DE REAL LIFE INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION (DERLIF) with a team of 25 medical personnel, among whom we have some, surgeon , pharmacists, lab scientists, opticians, and nurses.
This was done with the support and presence of Ambassador Pieter Leenknegt the Belgian Ambassador to Nigeria, along with other embassy staff. The exercise which took place from 9 am all through to 5 pm on the same day was a huge success because over 830 inmates (male/female) were attended to.
Antiretroviral
drugs were provided for over 10 inmates diagnosed with HIV/AIDS while
over 65 inmates (male/female) were diagnosed with chloric Hernia cases
due for surgical attention.
