🌟 What is the MTCP Scholarship?
The MTCP Scholarship, funded by the Government of Malaysia and administered in partnership with DERLIF, is designed to:
- Train skilled professionals from 144 eligible countries

- Support Malaysia’s global diplomacy in technical education
Successful applicants will be fully sponsored for the entire duration of their Master’s program, which typically lasts between 18 to 24 months.
💰 What’s Included?
This scholarship covers all major academic and living expenses:
- Full Tuition Fees paid directly to the university
- Monthly Living Allowance of RM 3,500 (≈ USD 750)
- Books & Research Materials: Additional RM 500/month
- Return Airfare: Economy class flight from your home country to Malaysia and back
- Airport Transfers & Settlement Allowance: RM 1,500 on arrival
- Medical Insurance: Comprehensive health and hospitalization coverage
- Thesis Support: RM 1,000 for final thesis printing and binding
🎯 Who Can Apply?
You’re eligible if you:
- Are a citizen of one of 144 eligible countries
- Are under 45 years old as of 13 June 2025
- Have a Bachelor’s degree with at least a 3.0 CGPA or Second Class Upper
- Meet English proficiency: IELTS 6.0+, TOEFL iBT 60+, or studied in English
- Are medically fit (certified by a physician)
- Are committed to return to your home country for at least 2 years after graduation

⚠️ Scholarship Rules You Should Know
- Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 each semester
- No unauthorized employment during your study
- No program or university change once admitted
- Student visa application is your responsibility
- You must return to your home country for at least 2 years post-study
